Secret Recipes to Make Your Own Natural Hair Care Products

Have you ever tried of making your very own natural hair care products? If you haven’t, here are sample recipes that you can try. Natural hair care products are just as effective as commercialized ones, only cheaper.
Secret Recipes
One good thing about natural hair care products is that they basically cater to the needs of all hair colors and types. To make your own shampoo, you will need 1/4 cup of liquid Castile soap, 1/4 cup of water, and half a teaspoon of vegetable or sunflower oil. Mix them all together in a bottle to make a basic type of shampoo.
If you are a blonde, use the same recipe but substitute the vegetable oil with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and a teaspoon of lemon zest. After mixing them all together, heat the solution in a microwave for a minute or two. Let it cool completely before you remove the lemon zest using a strainer.
Your natural hair care products collection will not be complete without a conditioning treatment made of a jar of mayonnaise and half an avocado. Make sure that you peel the skin off the avocado before mixing it with mayonnaise, forming a green paste. Massage it thoroughly into your hair, giving extra attention to the roots and ends. Wrap your hair with a shower cap for 20 minutes for the heat for a deep conditioning treatment. For maximum results, use a blow dryer on your hair (with the shower cap still on).
Natural hair dyes are great natural hair care products. If you are brunette, rinse your hair with cooled triple strength black coffee after shampooing it. Rinse your hair several times using the same coffee. If you are down to your last rinse, leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing your hair with clean water. Fifteen minutes should be enough for your hair to absorb the color of the coffee.
For redheads, mix half a cup of beet juice with half a cup of carrot juice then pour it over your wet hair. Wrap you hair in a plastic shower cup and again with a hot towel. Use a dryer set to medium heat for the color to stick to your hair. Do not forget to shampoo afterwards!
There are plenty of other natural hair care products that you can make on your own. Visit online sites or read books to find more secret recipes!…

Natural Hair Loss Products For Women

It’s not pleasant to think about, but nearly half of all women will eventually start losing their hair. Female pattern baldness typically causes the strands to start thinning around various regions of the head. This can be very distressing for women since their hair is seen as part of their identity and as a symbol of beauty. Fortunately, there are natural hair loss products for women which can help regrow hair.
Hair Growth Shampoos
If you are losing your hair, you should be very selective about the products you use to clean your hair. It is generally best to only use hair loss products for women which consist of natural ingredients. Avoid products which contain harsh chemicals which can damage the strands by stripping away their natural oils.
Look for shampoos which are made from natural ingredients such as rosemary, chamomile, or vitamin B.
Vitamins for Hair Growth
Many women who are losing their hair also have vitamin deficiencies. The strands must have certain nutrients or they can actually stop growing. This is why multi-vitamins and pre-natal vitamins are considered to be good hair loss products for women.
Vitamin B helps the body produce the protein the strands need in order to maintain their structure and grow. Vitamin E improves circulation and increases blood flow to the scalp. A healthy blood flow stimulates growth since the blood carries nutrients to the scalp to feed the strands. Vitamins A and C are also good for the strands.

Which Vitamin A For The Skin? – How To Find The Safest Products And Get Great Results

Up to recently, everybody thought that Vitamin A for the skin was great. The FDA does not agree as they have recently cast their critical eye over one form of Vitamin A which is called retinyl palmitate and which is used in lots of sunscreens. Actually this form of the Vitamin seems to speed up tumors and lesions on the skin. We know that this is a problem because half of the sunscreens out there are using this form of the vitamin. So, watch out for this on the labels the next time you buy a sunscreen.
The whole question of adding a sunscreen element into skincare products is a vexed one. There are those who say that some SPF factor is essential in spite of the fact that most of us never see sunlight for about six months of the year and spend 90% of our time indoors!
The people who are against sunscreen elements in these products agree rightly that proper clothing protection is best and that the sun can be avoided at peak times. We all need some sunlight to convert the vital Vitamin D on our bodies so these people are in favour of a certain amount of sun exposure.
But did you know that some companies actually use natural sunscreen ingredients which are totally organic and are absolutely safe? Let me give you one example. There is a substance which is extracted from Japanese seaweed known as wakame. This is a powerful antioxidant and it has remarkable properties in being able to deplete the hyaluronidase enzyme which harms our hyaluronic acid. That is incredible in itself and the patented form of this is called phytessence wakame.
But the good news is that phytessence wakame has another remarkable ingredient called sulfated polyfucose which is great for protecting the skin from the sunshine UV rays. It also is a useful barrier against the pollution in the atmosphere. Using this type of product foregoes the need to worry about vitamin A for the skin.
The above points illustrate why we should be using skincare products which do not contain harmful parabens, fragrances and mineral oils, just to name a few. They should also be totally compatible with our skin. There are ingredients which are at the cutting edge such as functional keratin and a nano emulsion form of COQ10. This one contains a vital enzyme essential for the skin cell renewal process.
If you are worried about the right type of Vitamin A for the skin, why not glance at my website where you will find safe, natural products produced a company whose safety record is second to none. Isn’t it time you got great results from safer products?…

The perfect way to keep a track of the ingredients that contact your body is to make your own hair products.
Mix and match together essential oils, and other organic ingredients to create shampoos and conditioners for the best source of organic care.
Organic Shampoo and Conditioner: When creating your organic hair products you should use a base of castile is vegetable based oil soap as opposed to animal fat which most commercial shampoos use. You can purchase castille soap base in a range of popular scents including coconut oil, almond oil, and jojoba oil.
When building your shampoo you can either make it from scratch or buy a pre-made base from an organic soap supplier. Adding essential oils and scents to your organic hair products:
You can add different oils to the castille soap base to affect you hair in different ways. If you are looking for a dandruff control then add tea tree oil and camomile.
If you are looking to add shine to your hair then use lemongrass and rosemary. Here are some examples of measures when using 4oz of castille soap in an 8oz bottle:
Dandruff Control: 1/2oz Tea Tree oil and 2 1/2oz strained Chamomile Tea.

Aveda is a beauty products company with headquarters in Blaine, Minnesota and is a subsidiary of Estee Lauder Companies Incorporated. In addition to training students in the art of cosmetics, Aveda produces hair care, skin care, styling, body care, cosmetics and fragrance products.
Aveda hair care products are created both for professionals to use at hair salons and for regular use at home. In June 2010, Aveda artists received twelve nominations for top honors in the North American Hairstylist Awards.
With a vast array of hair products for a variety of uses including shampoos, conditioners, styling products, brushes and accessories, Aveda has a very complete hair care range. Amongst their more popular products are the Aveda Smooth Infusion, Brilliant, Damage Remedy, Dry Remedy Moisturizing, Be Curly, Color Conserve, Control Paste, Pure Abundance, Sun care and Men Pure-formance collections.
The Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother is one of their best products and although it is slightly expensive, most users find it well worth the money. This is not a styling product; rather it is a pre-styling smoother that noticeably reduces frizz and leaves your hair silky and smooth.
Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancer is another product that performs as expected and is a great favorite among people who use it. As the product claims, it enhances your curls and works best if you have curly or wavy hair to begin with.
The Aveda Brilliant Shampoo is just that, a brilliant shampoo that helps moisturize your hair and leave it smooth and silky. People prone to headaches due to strong fragrances should be wary as although many people adore the jasmine and ylang-ylang scent in this Aveda shampoo, it may be a bit overwhelming.
While Aveda’s main emphasis is on creating organic products using, as much as possible, natural ingredients, they are a very successful luxury beauty products company. This may be ascribed to the effectiveness of their products or perhaps it is because it is one of the first beauty companies to endorse and practice environmental responsibility as part of business. Aveda hair shampoos and other products are tested on voluntary human participants and not on animals.
