You can keep using your normal shampoo and conditioner and still have gorgeous just have to follow a simple list of dos and don’ts.
1. Keep your hair clean. It sounds simple enough but people don’t often appropriate it correctly. Keeping your hair clean doesn’t equate to washing them everyday or applying shampoo twice in succession. No matter how good your shampoo is, it contains many chemicals and daily exposure to such chemicals will harm your hair in the long run. So, wash your hair on alternate days.
2. While washing your hair remember that the shampoo has to applied over the scalp as well while the conditioner is to applied only on the strands. Applying the conditioner over the scalp can lead o dandruff.
3.If possible, oil you hair at least once a week before washing. You can either oil them one night before you plan to wash them or even 2-3 hours before a head wash. While oiling, massage your scalp gently. This will keep your hair soft and will prevent dryness. The kind of oil will depend on the type of hair, but olive and almond oil are excellent for all hair types. Again, remember not to over do it. Dont apply too much oil because if you do, you are going to have to apply extra shampoo the next day to take it off. This will actually be counterproductive.
4. Right after washing your hair, use a gel or a potion which will prevent your hair from tangling. Also, while you are wiping your hair with a towel, never rub strands of hair against each other. This will make them fizzy which will lead to more hairfall. And dont panic if you see a few strands of hair on your towel. It is normal for hair to shed off and regrow.
5. Start using different kinds of combs for your hair. Right after you have washed you hair, use a comb with widely spaced spokes to comb your wet hair. This prevents them from breaking and also straightens your hair while they are wet. So, even when they dry up, they wont become fizzy or curly.…
